Following the decision taken in the Regional meeting of GEECT that occurred during the CILECT 2019 Moscow Congress, for the implementation of the new format of GEECT Thematic meetings, the GEECT board is opening a call for organizers of thematic meetings in 2020. The meetings can occur at any time and should be short duration (one day), highly targeted events focusing on topics of interest to the membership. The topics are open and can range from policy issues to more pedagogical or research related topics. Please send your proposals in the form of an abstract including:
- Title of the meeting
- Topic and scope (200 words)
- Proposed date
- Venue
- Target audience
- Proposed fee (should always be low since accommodation and meals are not included)
