On 29 October, 2029 the GEECT Regional Council elected new members for a four-year term. Patrick Geeraerts from RITCS, Belgium (pictured left), was unanimously chosen as Vice Chair. Jelena Modrić from ADU, Croatia (second from right), Julie Tingaud from La Fémis, France (centre), and Lucy Brown from the University of Westminster, UK (second from left) were elected as Council members. Barry Dignam from IADT, Ireland continues in his role as Chair of the Regional Council.

GEECT extends its sincere thanks to the outgoing members of the Regional Council – Jana Keeble, Jyoti Mistry and of course our vice-Chair and Treasurer Guido Lukoschek (who served an astonishing 9 years) for their commitment, energy, and generous contribution over the past years. Their work has strengthened the network, fostered collaboration across Europe, and helped shape GEECT’s strategic direction within the wider CILECT community. We are deeply grateful for their time, insight, and collegial spirit, and we look forward to continuing to build on the strong foundations they have helped to create. I’d like to add my personal thanks to them for all the support over my first year as Chair.
